Energy and Space
“It`s the silence between the notes, that holds the key to all music", said the French composer Claude Debussy. Mozart made similar conclusion. Maestro conductors in modern time such as Karajan, Bernstein, and Stokowski etc all agreed.
Music is an art. Art isn’t just about colour, but contrast. Music does not solely exist in the notes but also in pauses (silence between the notes or spacing). It is intangible in physical form but tangible in human senses. Silence has the power to punctuate notes and creates a sense of anticipation.
Thus, it is also correlated with tempo, dynamic, rhythm, harmonic progression and instrumentation, which in turn holistically define the energy level of any piece of music.
Legendary jazz musician, Mile Davis said “silence is more important than sound”.
Audio Exotics pursues genuine musicality through recreating the silence between notes on any recording.
Our systematic approach to annihilate noises will connect you easily with the souls of your beloved artists as though you are traveling in a Time Machine.

Given numerous humble works I had done over the past few years, it is about time to make a profile video of my company. The aim is to internationalise the company brand to broader audiences.
The world should know more about my tremendous amount of intellectual effort put forth in the art and science of recreating the soul of musicians.

朱芸編：《白日之下》電影音樂導賞會
電影的配樂和主題曲所帶出之「景」是最為觸動人心，因為導演編寫恰到好處而不過於煽情，具震撼力但不浮誇。從第一段「彩橋之家」掀起序幕，直到最後姜大衛（通伯）對余香凝的勸勉獨白，鼓勵她要堅持自己的道德標準，去面對社會不公義的指責。每段樂曲帶出的幕幕情景，細緻交代出主角的情感起伏，可見朱芸編先生對故事內容及角色性格有深層次的理解。
今天他親身解說每一首樂曲背後的創意由來，那裏留一些白，那裏要放緩拍子，甚至選用什麼鋼琴去營造氣氛等，原來是要何等苦心，才能將音韻和光影匯聚成為一鼓力量開啟觀眾的心扉。他其中一的番話令我尤其深刻： “觀眾最容易記得的是戲內的角色和故事情節。 相比之下，電影內的音樂是最容易被人忘記，所以我要加倍用心將重要片段，轉化成容易入腦的旋律。”

Aspiration
History is full of lessons reminding me to pick the right path to a future, albeit partially. It is because connecting the past to the future requires a dream as a goal. Then I need courage to execute and perseverance to withstand failures. I also need to trust people to work together making dreams come true.
Some of these photos were taken by my best friend, Johnathan Lam, whom I knew since Primary One at Kei Yan Primary school in Hong Kong. We went to St Paul’s College together and eventually furthered our studies together in the US.
He captured the moment when I presented the caligraphy to Lang Lang after he finished playing Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.3.
“琴聲只應天上有，人間能得幾回聞”
Under the baton of maestro JAAP van Zweden, the performance of HK Philharmonic is truly world class. I told him the symphonic power of HK Philharmonic under his leadership was phenomenal.
