It took AE’s Chris Leung and J. Lam some time to convince Oliver Goebel to open up a line of product that would depart from bending wave driver philosophies. In fact, Yamada-san of Zanden was there too, when Oliver presented the first audition in the outskirts of Munich. After the first few notes, Yamada exulted: “The phase is extremely coherent! I am surprised by such an achievement… multi-driver dynamic speakers don’t usually blend well.”  The very first Divin Majestic speakers were premiered in the 5th AE Super HI End Audio Show of 2017. Suffice to say, a new benchmark was immediately set. These speakers could recreate a sound-field that one might literally walk around in. Subsequently, the Divin Nobleness and Marquis were respectively born: in 2018, then 2020.
